A simple yet classic mid length slip is a lovely blend of hemp and organic cotton, which is a sustainable version of linen that gets softer as you wash and wear it. This slip is sewn on the bias, which gives a slight stretch to the width, allowing it to follow your natural curves. Size up if you have a Bra size of F & G cups

Details:

  • 55% Hemp & 45% Organic Cotton
  • Straps are extendable with metal sliders
  • Both models are wearing a size S

As a tiny brand, my business practices are so different—not just from large companies but even from other small businesses creating similar products.

For me, sourcing fabrics and trims means purchasing overflow materials—what bigger brands have left behind. It’s not quite “deadstock,” but it’s close. Many lingerie supplies require minimum orders of 10,000 units, so I work with what’s available—often organic or recycled materials that others have already chosen. While this can feel a little restrictive, it’s also incredibly rewarding to reduce waste and give surplus materials a new life in my designs.

What also makes me different is my hands-on approach. I’m not just designing; I’m involved in every aspect of my business. From choosing fabrics to perfecting fit, packing your orders, and even answering your emails, it’s all me! This level of personal connection means every piece you receive has been created with care, intention, and a commitment to sustainability.

Unlike many SMEs, my focus is on creating small, thoughtful collections that reflect timeless design and avoid the cycle of fast fashion. I don’t follow trends—I create pieces that last, both in quality and style.

Thank you for supporting me, Madonna, and my little brand, Eco Intimates. Your choice makes a huge difference, not just to me, but to the way we move towards a more ethical and sustainable fashion industry.

Warmly,
Madonna

Eco Intimates sustainability and ethics

Eco Intimates is designed in Australia and ethically made in small, family-run workshops in Bali using natural fabrics. We produce in small batches for quality, fit, and less waste.

Our Makers

I partner with a small group of home-based makers and small studios in Bali. I work closely with them from sampling through to production, ensuring consistency in fit and finish.

  • Small-batch production
  • Direct working relationships
  • Quality control oversight
Sustainably Produced

Each piece is handcrafted, not mass produced. The focus is longevity—quality materials and careful sewing designed to last.

  • Smaller production runs
  • Less overproduction
  • Flexible seasonal colour releases
Sustainable Fabrics

Natural fibres are central to Eco Intimates. Organic cotton jersey and stretch organic cotton (with minimal elastane for recovery) are sourced from OCS-certified suppliers using Oeko-Tex certified dyes.

Learn more about OCS: textileexchange.org

Where possible, we work with natural fibres. However, for supportive styles that include elastane, plant dyeing is not possible.

• Elastane (spandex) cannot be plant dyed
• Deep shades such as black cannot be achieved with natural dyes at commercial scale
• Our suppliers use Oeko-Tex® certified dyes
• Fabrics are tested to ensure they are free from harmful substances

This approach allows us to balance skin safety, longevity, and responsible production.

Designed in Australia

All collections are designed by me in Northern NSW. Shapes are developed for comfort, function and everyday wear before being refined with my makers.

Packaging

Packaging is minimal and plastic-free wherever possible.

  • Cream tissue wrap
  • Compostable mailers from Better Packaging
  • No excess marketing inserts
Journey to Better

Sustainability is ongoing. I’m committed to improving materials, processes and transparency as the business grows, while keeping quality and ethics central to every decision.
