Care Guide

I believe in making quality products that last, which is why my manufacturing standards and quality materials are so important and help ensure the long life of my garments, however, your care of them will be very important to ensure they look and feel their best for as long as possible!

Here are my guide and tips on caring and washing your ECO INTIMATES pieces:

Tip #1 Use a lingerie bag

ECO INTIMATES signature 90/10% organic cotton stretch and 100% organic cotton is fantastic quality so it handles machine washing fine but if the garments have lace detailing, this can get caught on bra hooks, or other items in the wash. Use a lingerie bag to protect your new lovelies.

Tip #2 Heat and harsh soaps deteriorate some fabrics

Heat can break down the elastane in stretch fabrics and elastics. I recommend to never use a tumble dryer or hot water during the wash process and your stretch piece will last years.

Tip # 3 Gentle soap

Harsh soaps can damage lace and silk. Most of the soaps on the market are gentle on most clothes but silk is an exception. Wash your silk pieces in wool or gentle soap and I like to use a eco friendly one as it both saves on chemicals and more gentle on the garments.

Detailed Fabric Care:

90/10% Organic Cotton / Elastane & Lace

WASH Cool or warm (not hot) machine in lingerie bag or hand wash (no soaking). Wash colours separately.
SOAP I recommend using an eco friendly soap that is gentle on the garments and our earth!
DRY Hang in the shade - no tumble drying. The heat will break down the elastane and damage silk and lace.
IRON Warm iron - be careful not to put high heat on lace

100% Organic cotton (both woven and jerseys)
